Professional Summary

Mr. Elam is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office and currently handles civil litigation in trial and appellate courts, in both federal and California courts.  He received his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2003.  A 2005 admittee to the State Bar of California, Mr. Elam’s primary focus is defending the Firm’s national clients against complex mass toxic tort, personal injury and wrongful death claims.  He manages and conducts all stages of pre-trial discovery, conducting depositions, and motion preparation.  Prior to joining Pond North, Mr. Elam worked for a large national law firm specializing in federal appellate work, commercial litigation, arbitration, insurance coverage, and patent disputes in Silicon Valley.  He is also admitted to practice law in Washington D.C. and before all the California State Courts, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
