EDWARD MARTINOVICH

Professional Summary

Edward Martinovich is an associate with Pond North’s Los Angeles office, and focuses primarily on environmental, asbestos, and other toxic tort issues.  Mr. Martinovich previously served as in-house counsel for a large national law firm, focusing on labor and employment issues including Title VII, California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act, and the federal Equal Pay Act. Mr. Martinovich also resolved issues relating to California’s Rules of Professional Conduct, and has participated in several arbitration and mediation proceedings. 

Mr. Martinovich is also licensed to practice law in New York State, where he worked with a boutique litigation firm on issues ranging from commercial real estate transactions, trusts & estates, and white-collar criminal defense.  Mr. Martinovich worked as a legal assistant in the New York chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, the Legal Aid Society, and the New York State Attorney General’s Office, Civil Rights Division.  Mr. Martinovich ranked in the top 5% of his graduating class at the City University of New York Law School.  He also holds a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, from the State University of New York at Albany, with a double-major in Political Science and Criminal Justice.  Mr. Martinovich is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.  He is also fluent in Serbo-Croatian.
