Professional Summary
Mr. Parnall is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2006. While in law school Mr. Parnall was an articles editor of the UC Davis Law Review. He also served as judicial extern to Chief Judge Randall Newsome of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California, for whom he researched and drafted judicial orders and bench memoranda. He was also a judicial extern at the Law and Motion division of the Sacramento Superior Court and a law clerk for the Alameda County Public Defender’s office, where he argued and won numerous motions to suppress wrongfully obtained evidence on behalf of criminal defendants.
A 2006 admittee to the State Bar of California, Mr. Parnall’s present practice consists of pre-trial work relating to asbestos personal injury and wrongful death claims and other toxic tort claims. Prior to joining Pond North, Mr.Parnall practiced real estate litigation in a small San Francisco firm and provided pro bono eviction assistance to low income landlords at the Alameda County Landlord/ Tenant legal clinic.
Mr. Parnall is a former professional musician who has recorded several commercially released albums and performed throughout North America. He also acted as Senior Music Analyst to Pandora, an industry-leading internet radio and music recommendation service. Mr. Parnall graduated cum laude with a B.A. in music from the University of California, San Diego in 1994. He has studied in Seville, Spain and is proficient in Spanish.
